Game-server integrations
Full Minecraft integration (account linking, whitelist automation and role sync), plus Tebex store management and PlanetSide 2 outfit tools. No other major bot has these built in.
Most Discord servers stack 3 to 5 bots: one for moderation, one for tickets, one for forms, one for roles, one for events and maybe one for AI. Heimdall does the lot, with one dashboard and one bill.

The things no other major Discord bot ships in 2026.
Full Minecraft integration (account linking, whitelist automation and role sync), plus Tebex store management and PlanetSide 2 outfit tools. No other major bot has these built in.
24 real-time dashboard pages, with widgets each staff member can arrange. Other bots' dashboards are mostly settings forms.
Allow, Deny or Inherit for every dashboard page and action, following Discord's role hierarchy. The kind of permissions business tools have, without the business price.
Context-aware AI moderation, ticket replies drafted from your knowledgebase, modmail summaries, a knowledgebase Q&A bot and custom personas. We run it for you, so there are no API keys.
Transcribe voice channels and events as they happen, using Whisper. Handy for accessibility, meeting notes and big community events.
Heimdall asks only for the permissions each feature needs. Plenty of older bots ask for Administrator, which gets round every safeguard you've set up.
Every bot here is good at something. Here's what.
Best forHuge brand recognition, and a battle-tested levels and XP system that helped define the category.
Weak spotThe most aggressive paywall around. Features that used to be free are now paid, and the free plan shows ads.
Best forPolished moderation, automod and logging. The dependable choice for general moderation.
Weak spotNo tickets, no modmail, no game-server integrations and no modern AI features.
Best forThe best reaction roles going (up to 250 per message), and very generous moderation and logging on the free plan.
Weak spotNo tickets, modmail, AI, Minecraft or Tebex. It sticks closely to community moderation.
Best forThe specialist for high-volume support. Thread mode handles up to 1,000 tickets per panel.
Weak spotIt only does tickets. No moderation, community tools, AI or integrations.
Best forSelf-hosted tickets with a one-off licence, full branding control and PayPal, Stripe and crypto invoicing inside tickets, which suits sellers.
Weak spotYou host and maintain it yourself, there's no free plan, and it only does tickets: no moderation, community or game-server tools.
Best forPower-user scripting: fully programmable custom commands and the most flexible automod engine around.
Weak spotA steep learning curve, a dated dashboard, no AI and no managed integrations.
Best forThe leading events and calendar bot on Discord, used by 300k+ servers for scheduling.
Weak spotIt's a specialist. It doesn't do moderation, support or community, so you'll still need other bots.
Best forThe best multi-question applications, forms, polls and giveaways, with proper staff review.
Weak spotNo moderation, tickets, modmail or community features, so pair it with a moderation bot.
Heimdall covers most of what a community needs. Here's when a specialist still wins.
You can run Heimdall alongside any of these. They don't conflict.
For most communities, yes. Heimdall covers moderation, automod, infractions, tickets, modmail, suggestions, applications, starboard, role buttons, welcome messages, tags, reminders, minigames, a real-time web dashboard, Minecraft and Tebex, plus optional Odin AI. The two honest exceptions are deep XP and levels, where MEE6 still leads, and large-scale calendar scheduling, which is Apollo's speciality.
Administrator gets round every channel and role permission in Discord, so giving it to a bot is a security risk you can't easily undo. Heimdall asks for the exact permissions each feature needs (Manage Messages for moderation, Manage Channels for tickets and so on), and you can check and revoke them feature by feature in your server settings.
Heimdall is free for any server size, with no member cap and no ads: every core plugin, the full dashboard and generous limits. When you outgrow it, Premium is one flat £5.99 a month (or £57.99 a year) for any size. It lifts the limits and adds the power features. Plenty of other bots charge to unlock individual features instead: Carl-bot, for example, keeps its Levels module behind its paid plan.
Yes. Plenty of servers run Heimdall as their main bot and keep a specialist, like Apollo for events or MEE6 for XP, next to it. Heimdall doesn't clash with other bots.
We took each bot's features from its official documentation and recent reviews. Things change quickly, so if you spot something out of date, tell us in our Discord (opens in a new tab) and we'll fix it. We've tried to be honest about where the others win.
