Giveaways run on a timer with a button to enter. The entry count updates live, winners are drawn automatically when the timer ends, and you can reroll if a winner does not respond.

Starting one

/giveaway start is the quick route: a prize, a duration, and how many winners. /giveaway create opens the fuller flow for anything more involved, and does the same in the dashboard. Members enter with the button on the giveaway message. The counter updates as people join, so the message stays useful without anybody refreshing anything.

Drawing and rerolling

When the timer ends the bot draws winners and announces them. Draws are atomic, so two people cannot be picked for the same slot even if the giveaway ends while entries are still arriving.

Templates and series

save a giveaway setup so a recurring one does not have to be rebuilt each time. Series group repeating giveaways together so you can see them as one thing rather than a dozen unrelated entries.

Fulfillment

The page tracks whether winners actually received their prize, which matters for anything handed over by a person rather than automatically. A giveaway with an undelivered prize stays visible instead of disappearing once the draw is done.

Partners and sharing

Giveaways can be shared with partner servers, so a giveaway you run appears in theirs and vice versa. /giveaway partners manages those relationships, and /giveaway share offers a specific giveaway. In the dashboard, you invite a partner from a giveaway’s create or edit form, and is where you join a partner’s giveaway with a code, see the ones you are taking part in, and leave.

Required permissions

Seeing who entered is separated from running the giveaway on purpose: the entrant list is a list of your members, and running a draw does not require reading it.
